I know that place ! Looks like you were stretching over the bridge for that one ! Beast, but would look even better with proper headcode displayed (its what the headcode boxes were for, after all).
Strange how a bit of detail like that makes you like um . I think (& they probably were) one of the best machines BR ever produced ! . Still going today (just). reliable,plenty of power & can look beastly in the right livery. Bet your glad you took so many shots of um now ?
47224 approaches Saltley on 21.10.98 with the 4M86 Felixstowe to Lawley Street freightliner. Looks good with black headcode panel.
