Bloxwich in 2002

The Bescot to Bloxwich trip produced 37s for years but it wasnt until 2001/2002 that I actually got to Bloxwich to see it there. I have an assortment of shots here, taken from both sides of the crossing. The man with the lollipop blocks the road to traffic while the train crosses. I made another visit here in late 2002 and the once banned 66s had made an appearance on the working so I knew that was the end! These scenes feature also some of the last 37s in traffic in the early 2000s, some having been switched off at Bescot not long after.

Very nice photos, thanks for sharing them.

As for the tripper, it is sadly missed now.

Great shots of varied liveries, probably not to be seen there again...
