Bloxwich bound


 37350 growls through Walsall on 02.03.98 on the 6G33 Bescot to Bloxwich trip. Still carrying obsolete trainload petroleum decals.

Great shot there, the trip still runs but with boring GM power. Re: the loco badging etc, the railway always took years to get things moving at "ground" level... the powers that be probably didnt know where their sectorised loco's were !

Oh yes I know that, but that sectorisation of the late 80s/early 90s was a bit strict, it wasnt until 1995 that 'anything could turn up anywhere' and as much as I was not much of a fan of this liv it was great to still see it hanging on here and there, and still today even on the odd 60. Those that havent been blitzed with the big yellow square.
