A busy moment at Sandy Lane on 09.03.97. While 31142 and 31405 Mappa Mundi reverse wagons into the yard, 20075, 20187, 37025 and 37167 have just arrived on a spoil train and up and down Intercity services pass on the mainline, with a class 08 overlooking.

Christ, couldn't you fit any more loco's in ! (there was an unoccupied road on the right !!).
yeh, that road is also a ballast siding now !!. Think it's taken atleast two lines. Rubbish
