Tame Skinhead


 31110 departs Bescot Yard on 02.03.98 on the 6B09 departmental trip to Northampton and is seen passing Tame Bridge station.

Yes, i can remember that service, in fact there always had been a Bescot-Northampton service throughout the 70s and 80s.... must have fizzled out in the early 2000s i guess, as with a lot of other destinations.

Yes, it was still a regular runner at this time I saw it often, always a 31 or 37. Went out the window with many other trip workings in the early 2000s. Either ship stuff in from elsewhere or run a jumbo train once a week/fortnite etc instead of daily little trips with odd wagons...
